Stacey has worked with adults and children in private practice, Government and independent schools, and early childhood intervention settings. She enjoys supporting adults, children and families to understand strengths and individual needs. Stacey works to support children and adults to appreciate and nurture themselves; and helps people diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, ASD, and learning disorders to work through confusion/grief from the past and create an accepting and rewarding path for the future.
Stacey has particular interest in:
- Supporting neurodiverse children and adults with school, work and relationships. This includes people who received a diagnosis late in life.
- Helping family members know how to support loved ones who are neurodiverse.
- Helping family members support loved ones diagnosed with dementia.
- Helping adults and children who have lived with family violence.
She has also worked for the Federal Government: leading online safety resource development for children and parents; and co-developing resources targeting issues of online abuse, LGBTQIA+ advocacy, disability advocacy, and first nations people. Stacey is an LGBTQIA+ ally and a neurodiversity champion.
